Honoring Heroes with a Beautiful Wreath

This Memorial Day weekend, Garden Club at Palm Coast dedicated members Frank and Marie Fabozzi took the lead in preparing and installing a beautiful wreath at the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs District VI Blue Star Memorial Marker on Bull Dog Drive and S.R. 100.

This special monument, which has stood since its dedication on November 11, 2006, is a tribute to our brave heroes. This year, it received a stunning wreath donated by the talented Susan Howell of Southern City Creations. You might remember Sue as one of the fantastic vendors from our 2024 Spring Festival.

A big shoutout to our member Ellen Werner for picking up the wreath and ensuring it arrived safely. Moments like these make our club unique as we unite to honor and remember those who have served.

19th Annual Arbor Day

On May 4, 2024, The Garden Club at Palm Coast hosted their annual booth at the City Arbor Day event held at Town Center, Palm Coast. The City offered free trees in exchange for donations of canned goods. The event featured live music, kids’ games, food vendors, and several other booths, including the popular annual Butterfly Release tent.

The Garden Club at Palm Coast provided free plants for any donation to their Scholarship Fund and distributed flyers about plants and information about the club. A big thank you to the volunteers who assisted Kathleen Fuss, Club Arbor Day Coordinator, in making the day a success!
