The Garden Club at Palm Coast, Inc. closed out the 2025-2026 year with our annual picnic held at Herschel King Park. This year we installed a new administration and fondly thanked the past administration for all their hard work in promoting the club and working throughout the community.
We also presented our scholarship recipients. Jayanna Steffen, our high school recipient from FPC, was a chapter officer in Future Farmers of America. Her goal is to pursue a career in veterinary science with a concentration in the food animal industry. Jayanna believes that the quality of the meat we consume depends upon healthy and happy livestock.
Ginny Niebauer, from Art Among the Flowers, was awarded an Honorary Membership by the club as well as receiving a scholarship donation for her children’s summer floral design classes.
Not present to receive another scholarship donation by the club was Janine Regina from Hammock Gardens for their children’s summer arts and crafts classes.
The picnic was a wonderful way to say goodbye for the summer. So, until we all meet again, no matter where you roam, Plant the Seeds of Kindness.
