Propagation Guild Meeting March 2017

The Propagation Guild will meet on Wednesday, March 1 at the home of Jan Wulff (4 Curry Ct.) also hosted by Kathleen Fuss. We will be discussing the responsibilities of each member at the Spring Festival on April 8. Please bring a list of the plants you have propagated and the number you expect to be ready for sale on April 8. If you are not sure about the plant’s name please bring it or a photo or leaf so I can identify it.

Club Meeting February 2017

The February Club Meeting is scheduled on Monday, February 13, 2017.

The speaker will be Teresa Watkins, horticulturist, landscape designer, garden writer and radio host! There will also be a plant sale by the Propagation Guild and a raffle for a beautiful floral design created by a member of the Club’s Arrangers’ Guild. Come and join in the fun and education!!!

The meeting is held at The Flagler County Cooperative Extension Service (Ag. Center),   located at 150 Sawgrass Road in Bunnell, Florida

The meeting begins at 1:00 PM with sign-in at 12:30 PM.

Treasures in the Attic

On Saturday, March 18, 2017, The Garden Club at Palm Coast will have a fundraiser in the form of a garage sale at Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church, 101 Pine Lakes Pkwy, from 7am-4pm. Items include: household goods, jewelry, books, gardening supplies, tools and more.

Drop off items for sale at the church on Friday, March 17 from 3pm – 6pm. Please NO clothing, TV’s, computers and broken items.

Volunteers needed Friday for set-up and Saturday for the Sale.

5th Annual Spring Festival and Plant Sale

On Saturday April 8th, 2017, the Garden Club at Palm Coast will present its 5th Annual Spring Festival and Plant Sale at Central Park at Town Center, adjacent to the Palm Coast City Hall, from 9 am- 4pm.

The highlight of the Club’s activities is the huge plant sale offering hundreds  of different plants. Proceeds go to scholarships for high school and college students interested in horticulture, agriculture and environmental sciences.

In addition there will be a range of garden-related vendors offering a variety of specialty plants and products,  arts and crafts, as well as food trucks, and  children’s activities.
