Garden Club Remembers Maureen O’Hara and Richard Frazier

It’s with a heavy heart that we share news of the passing of two cherished members of our Garden Club community, Maureen O’Hara and Richard Frazier. Both Maureen and Richard contributed so much to our club, and they will be deeply missed.

Remembering Maureen O’Hara
Long-time Garden Club member Maureen O’Hara passed away on July 13, 2024, after a short illness. Maureen was a vibrant presence in our club for many years, and her dedication and kindness touched so many of us.

A memorial mass will be held for Maureen on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Seton Hall (the former St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, across the parking lot from the main church), located at 4600 Belle Terre Pky, Palm Coast, FL 32164.

Condolences may be sent to the O’Hara Family at 15 Ashbury Ln, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to either St. Jude’s Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105) or the Flagler Humane Society (1 Shelter Dr., Palm Coast, FL 32137). Maureen’s beloved Siamese cat will be cared for by her daughter, Mrs. Danielle Sullivan.

Honoring Richard Frazier
We also mourn the passing of Richard Frazier, a distinguished member and past president of the Garden Club at Palm Coast, who died in June. Richard’s leadership and passion for gardening left a lasting impact on our club and community.

A memorial service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, located at 6050 Palm Coast Parkway NW.

A repast with reflections and remarks will follow the service in the Activity Hall.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The National Kidney Foundation of Orlando.

Our thoughts are with the families and friends of Maureen and Richard during this difficult time. They both brought so much to our Garden Club, and their memories will continue to blossom in our hearts.
