The Garden Club at Palm Coast proudly announces Angela and Vinny Yacuzzi of Feling Lane as the Selection of the Month for October 2025.
The Yacuzzis moved to Palm Coast 7 years ago from Worcester, MA. Angela was formerly an accountant, now retired, and Vinny was self-employed as a stone mason and now works full-time for Bass Pro Shops in Daytona.
Angela’s friend Andea lived here in Palm Coast, and the last time they visited her, Vinny said, “Put the house on the market, we are moving to Florida”. When they bought their house, the front yard was totally empty. Angela became a member of The Garden Club at Palm Coast, where she acquired much knowledge on how to grow succulents and other varieties of cactus. She also joined the East Coast Bromeliad Society, where she procures the plants and Vinny plants and maintains them.
Vinny’s really the one who plants everything! He enjoys creating and designing new garden areas. He even has an area out back dedicated to his potted plants, and it features a sign that reads, “Vinny’s Pot Herb Garden…Plant Smiles…Grow Love.”
The front island features a pygmy date palm, prickly pear cactus, a myriad of succulents, a large variety of bromeliads, pink, red, and yellow crown of thorns, three dracaena trees, and yellow and red roses.
Going towards the back yard, there are golden dewdrops, Texas bluebells, tillandsia, oyster plants, ponytail palm, large starfish cactus, crimnum lily, palm lily (Cordyline Rubra), agapanthus, angel trumpet, scarlet firespike, and bird of paradise.
Vinny has also made a workbench where he propagates plants to add to his gardens!
