Jane Howells called the meeting to order at 9:50 a.m. due to Linda Hensler absence. Linda had a fall and broke her left leg, she is doing okay, however, she will be out for some time as she cannot put any weight on her leg.

She was discharged from the hospital and now is in rehab at Encompass Rehab, 65 Silver Ln, St. Augustine, 904 640-2000, should you want to go visit her.

We made $52.00 at the General Club meeting raffle on November 11. Kelley Callery generously offered to make the arrangement to sell at our next General Garden Club meeting on December 9th.

Library Christmas tree to be decorated tomorrow, November 20th. Kelley Callery donated a wreath to hang at the Library as well.

Our December 10th Arrangers’ Guild will be our Christmas party to be held at Andrea Rogers home at 2:00 p.m. and she will be hosting a “High Tea”. Please wear your festive holiday wear. No hats necessary! Tea items and creative sandwiches are encouraged and not too many sweets. Car pool recommended due to lack of parking.

Flagler Free Clinic is having its Open House on December 6th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with live music at 703 Moody Blvd.Rte.100, in Bunnell. It is a yellow house.

The January Arrangers’ Guild meeting program will be determined once Jane Howells identifies who the speaker and program will be. Also, she will inquire about someone doing the Ikebana class for us in the future.

Kelley Callery instructed our class today. She brought in 3 decorated wreaths and a lovely prawn decorated with gourds and dried floral items.

She made two lovely arrangements to show us how to make them ourselves. One was using a green dish with an assortment of beautiful sea shells, sea fan, coral and drift wood.
The second one was in a rectangular brown metal container using assorted large gourds and smaller white ones with dried various plant items as well as agapanthus. Both were very nice and not hard to make. Thank you, Kelley!

A few students started to make their own but will finish them at home. Margaret Chodosh made a very interesting tall display of pink dried material, large green circles, with red and orange colors. Very nice Margaret. Wonderful job!

The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 p.m.
