The Garden Club at Palm Coast will hold its first meeting of the 2017-2018 season on Monday September 18th (sign-in begins at 12:30 p.m.) at the Flagler County Extension Service, 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell. The new officers are Cindy Balazik, President, Sue Bennett-Bara, Vice-President, Susan McConnell, Treasurer and Andrew McConnell, Assistant Treasurer. We have an opening for the Secretary’s position. Our guest speaker at this meeting will be Eric Learn from T&D Tree Service who will educate the club on Queen Palms, Hardwood trees and shrubs. There will be a raffle for a floral design, plant sale and door prizes as well as light refreshments. Visitors are welcome. I just moved to Palm Coast, FL 3 months ago from Maryland. I am interested in learning more about this club.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month (September – May). Our next meeting will be on September 11th at the Extension office in Bunnell – 150 Sawgrass Road; meeting time is 1:00 pm but sign in begins at 12:30. We typically post our announcements on our website and in the local newspapers and calendars. We have a guest speaker at our meetings, light food after the meeting and a raffle and social time. Hope to see you at our next meeting.

Hi Barbara, Unfortunately our Sept. 11 meeting was canceled due to Hurricane Irma, but it is rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 18. Hope you can make it. In addition to our speaker, raffles and refreshments, the Propagation Guild will have a large plant sale. Hope to meet you. Jane
