Gardening For Pollinators

Description: Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, oh my. So many pollinators exist in Florida, and many of them have specific plants that they prefer to utilize. We will discuss the life cycle of insects, flower anatomy, favorite plants of pollinators,       and how to take care of them in your landscape. All plants presented are “Florida Friendly”.

The Butterfly Advocate – Dawn Hudson, a Monarch Specialist, will teach us how to make our gardens “Butterfly Friendly”.  Meeting starts at 1:00PM.

This is a “Pot Luck” picnic.

Members are asked to bring a food item to share (appetizer, salad, main dish or dessert).

Drinks will be provided by the Club.
