A day of connection, local vendors, and purpose—all to support students in Flagler County
The BOLD Ladies in Business Flagler County Chapter brought the community together for a vibrant fundraising event hosted at Pointe Grand Apartments in Palm Coast, selecting the Garden Club at Palm Coast as the beneficiary of this month’s event.
With over 30 local vendors, three food trucks, and a strong turnout of supportive community members, the event created an atmosphere centered on connection, collaboration, and giving back.
This wasn’t just a market—it was a mission.
Through the combined efforts of vendors, attendees, and organizers, the event successfully raised $1,100, including $1,000 contributed by the BOLD Ladies in Business group and additional funds generated through raffle tickets and giveaways.
The event was led by Ana Reyes-Ouzts, Founder and Executive Director of BOLD Ladies in Business, Flagler Chapter, and TLC Lifestyle Coach, whose vision continues to bring women in business together while giving back to the community.
While the BOLD Ladies in Business organized and hosted the event, all proceeds directly benefit the Garden Club at Palm Coast and its ongoing efforts to provide scholarships for local students.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the local businesses, professionals, and community leaders who helped make the evening both successful and memorable.
Keeping guests refreshed throughout the event, Timeless Taps served up a delicious variety of beverages that kept the energy going.
Viviana’s Hair Studio added a special touch by offering $10 off highlights, while Theresa Norway with Mary Kay connected with guests through beauty and skincare.
Creative and specialty vendors like Images by Alina, Kathy’s Creations, Mirella’s T-Shirts by Design, Designs by Donna Epoxy Creations, Gigi Jones with Chic Boutique, and Diane Wasney serving up everyone’s favorite chocolates showcased the talent and creativity within the community.
Health and wellness were also represented, with Shannon Zori, Holistic Health Practitioner, offering insight into a more balanced lifestyle.
Community-focused organizations and services including Onyx Home Care and Nadine King with Christmas Come True helped bring awareness to important local initiatives.
Yonette Turner with Yonette’s Beauty Den added to the event’s vibrant mix of services and style.
Local leadership was also present, with Jill Woolbright, candidate for Flagler County School Board, and Vice Mayor Theresa Carli Pontieri showing their support for both the cause and the community.
Guests also enjoyed a variety of food options, including Shelia Hinds with Sweet Shelia Food Truck, Borinquen Cravings Puerto Rican Food, and The Wing Spot – Dex N Angie House of Flavor, all contributing to the lively and welcoming atmosphere.
Special thanks to the entire staff at Pointe Grand Apartments for hosting and helping bring the event together.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the Garden Club at Palm Coast was incoming 2026 – 2027 President Kenetha Kilmurray, alongside Second Year Director Melondy Bosko.

Garden Club member Nancy Iandoli welcomed guests and handed out raffle tickets, helping set the tone for a warm and engaging experience from the moment attendees arrived.
“As guests arrived, the energy was immediate, friendly greetings at the door, raffle tickets in hand, and conversations starting before they even reached the vendors.” says Nancy Iandoli.
Throughout the event, additional Garden Club members were actively involved selling plants, connecting with attendees, and supporting the overall success of the fundraiser.
It was a true team effort, and for many involved, a meaningful moment that reflected the power of community working together toward a shared goal.
Events like this do more than raise funds they create opportunities.
By supporting scholarships through the Garden Club at Palm Coast, this fundraiser helps open doors for students working toward their future. At the same time, it provides a platform for local businesses to grow, connect, and be seen.
It’s a reminder that strong communities are built through collaboration, generosity, and showing up for one another.

What a beautiful day for a road trip! It’s twice as nice when no one needs to drive. 40 of us came together from 4 area garden clubs; The Garden Club at Palm Coast, Tillandsia, Southern Peninsula, and St. Augustine as well as several non-garden club people from Palm Coast. What a wonderful way to meet new people, exchange ideas, and take time to talk to one another.
I am constantly amazed at the beauty and imagination presenters put into their exhibits; I can’t even imagine how much time some of these exhibits must have taken. It is always pleasure to see the exhibits of our own members take the ribbons. Congrats to Marínus, Linda, Margaret, Becky and Rosemary!

Thank you all for coming, I hope you had as much fun as I did.
