Annual Christmas Lunch 2019

On December 9th, 2019 the Garden Club at Palm Coast held its annual Christmas lunch. The event took place at the Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church and was attended by more than 70 members. The organizing committee provided turkey and ham as well as the beverages. The club members brought side dishes, hors d’oeuvres and dessert (pot luck).

Kathleen Terlizzo, Sue Bara and their team did an excellent job organizing our Garden Club Christmas Lunch.

The room was beautifully decorated. Flower arrangements looked great, courtesy of the Arrangers’ Guild.

Appetizers galore

The crowd had great fun and lots to talk about.  The organizers and President had a hard time talking over the audience, which is unusual ;-).

And because they all finished their plate, including second and third helping, the party goers were allowed to get dessert.

And lots of it:

For all attendees there was a gift bag on the tables. One of the goodies in the bag was a packet of seeds. Very appropriate for a garden club. Can’t wait to see those sweet little plants pop their head up from the dirt.

The Poinsettia on each table was given to the person at that table with a birthday closest to the date of the event.

This was an excellent start of the Holiday Season.

Warm thanks to the organizers and anyone who contributed to the success of this lunch.
