Arrangers’ Guild Meeting January 21

Penny Decker was the guest speaker at the regular Arrangers’ Guild meeting on January 21, 2020.

Penny Decker is a Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and nationally recognized instructor.  She created and demonstrated four different designs of the “Cascade” design using unique floral containers including one of her own design.

She reviewed the basic forms, light, line, form, color, pattern, texture, size and space. She discussed the importance of having balance and rhythm in a floral design. She also taught us leaf manipulation.

Each participant then created an individual arrangement which was critiqued by all at the end of the class.
