DESCRIPTION:Propagating Pollinator Habitats \nProgram:             “Propagating Pollinator Habitats”\nGuest Speaker:     Erin E. Alvarez (Lecturer) \nUF/IFAS Environmental Horticulture \n\nDescription:   Most of our food and ornamental plants rely on some kind of critter to get the next generation going. Gardeners can help pollinators like bees\, butterflies\, beetles\, birds bats\, and more in a myriad of ways that can be adapted to any kind of garden or landscape. This presentation will cover several easy strategies and will end with a hands on workshop where attendees can build the start of their own pollinator hotels to take home. \nAttention: This Club meeting has been re-scheduled from April 8th to April 15th\, due to overlap with the FFGC Convention being held from April 6th to 10th\, 2019. This Convention takes place in St Augustine and the proximity offers a unique opportunity for our club members to participate in the conference.
